The company was originally set up by Director Ian Macdonald in 1995 as Taranaki Design, which later became dsigna Concepts in 2003. We are based in New Plymouth, Taranaki on the west coast of New Zealand’s North Island and service both local and national markets.

Our firm delivers professional architectural services from architectural design to council permit drawings.  With the use of computer-aided design programs, we not only offer 2D drawings, but also computer generated 3D images. Moreover, we can provide services such as sun study and walk through animation. Both of these services aid the architectural design process allowing you to see the effect of the sun and shade on your new house at different times of the day and giving you a very clear idea of the scale and design of the house with a virtual walkthrough.
